About the job Sales Manager (Satcom)
Role Overview
Drive the growth of direct and indirect sales for mobile satellite communication and managed IT/security solutions across Singapore and the Asia Pacific region. The role focuses heavily on new business development within the maritime sector while managing selected key accounts.
Key Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and close high-value sales opportunities for satellite communication and managed IT/security services

Expand new customer acquisition channels (direct and partner-based) with strong focus on maritime clients

Manage and grow existing key accounts while building a strong sales pipeline

Achieve assigned revenue targets and provide regular pipeline forecasts and reports

Collaborate closely with regional and global sales, engineering, implementation, and customer support teams

Participate in sales reviews and strategic planning sessions

Travel extensively across the region to drive business growth

Maintain a proactive, independent, and results-driven sales approach
Requirements

Proven track record in direct and indirect sales across multiple industries

Experience in the maritime sector is essential

Strong English proficiency (written and spoken)

Highly organised, self-motivated, and commercially driven

Willingness to travel frequently across Asia Pacific
Preferred Qualifications

Experience selling satellite services (VSAT, L-band, LEO) or maritime IT/SaaS solutions

Technical knowledge of maritime connectivity providers such as Inmarsat, Iridium, Starlink, or OneWeb

Familiarity with maritime cybersecurity or vessel IT environments

Business-level Chinese language capability is advantageous
