About the job Sales Manager (Marine) - KL, Malaysia
Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies and processes to grow business in the marine, offshore, and related industries.

Manage key customer accounts (including ship owners, managers, shipyards, offshore operators, and EPCs) while building long-term relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Supervise and guide the Sales & Administrative team, monitor performance, and ensure KPIs are achieved.

Drive business development by identifying new opportunities, negotiating agreements, and expanding relationships with existing clients.

Prepare management reports, contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and KPI setting.

Maintain CRM systems, analyze sales performance, and report market intelligence and competitor activities.

Represent the company at trade shows, seminars, and customer visits locally and abroad.

Ensure sales activities comply with policies, deliver profitability, and strengthen the organizations presence in the industry.

Support marketing initiatives, brand positioning, and cross-department collaboration as needed.
Key Tasks

Negotiate customer agreements and contracts.

Conduct regular visits with clients, ensuring needs are met and feedback addressed.

Monitor margins and implement strategies to maximize profitability.

Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet departmental goals.

Assist other departments when required to support overall service delivery.
Qualifications

Strong sales and account management background, ideally in marine, offshore, or related sectors.
