Position Summary

The Director of Admissions will lead all recruitment and enrollment strategies for a distinguished educational institution in Doha. This role requires strong leadership abilities, exceptional interpersonal skills, and experience in educational admissions or similar recruitment fields. The successful candidate will oversee the complete admissions process, develop strategic enrollment initiatives, and represent the institution at recruitment events locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Enrollment Management
    • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract 130 high-performing students annually

    • Establish and maintain enrollment targets, metrics, and assessment methods

    • Create data-driven processes to optimize recruitment pipelines and admissions workflows

    • Analyze enrollment trends and provide recommendations for institutional planning

  • Event and Outreach Coordination
    • Plan and execute high-quality recruitment events for prospective students and families

    • Represent the institution at educational fairs and conferences throughout the region

    • Cultivate relationships with feeder schools and educational consultants

    • Design culturally appropriate outreach activities that align with institutional values

  • Admissions Team Leadership
    • Manage, train, and mentor admissions staff in best practices and procedures

    • Develop team capabilities in student assessment, interviewing, and selection

    • Foster a collaborative work environment focused on excellence in customer service

    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and professional development planning

  • Stakeholder Relations
    • Communicate effectively with school leadership, faculty, and board members

    • Build productive relationships with parents, students, and community partners

    • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams on recruitment materials

    • Serve as an ambassador for the institution's mission and educational philosophy

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5+ years in educational admissions, recruitment, or related leadership roles

    • Proven track record in achieving enrollment targets

    • Experience working in international or culturally diverse environments

    • Background in event management and stakeholder relations

  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Fluency in Arabic required; proficiency in English essential

    • Strong understanding of educational assessment and admissions processes

    • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

    • Advanced analytical abilities for data-driven decision making

    • Proficiency with CRM systems and admissions databases (SLATE experience preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $82,000-$110,000 annually (QAR 300,000-400,000, tax-free)

  • Housing: Accommodation provided or housing allowance
