Your new challenge

As an International Sales Manager your priority is to take ownership of strategic, tactic, and operational sales efforts. While managing your own portfolio of clients, you are responsible for developing the longer term sales plan, structuring the sales process, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring consistent execution of sales strategies. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on operational management, and the ability to navigate complex sales environments in the industrial IoT sector. An ideal opportunity for a strong professional to step up and take the lead!

Key responsibilities

  • expanding our customer portfolio with new accounts in Europe and APAC, following a targeted approach towards larger corporates
  • providing vision on Sales Management, specifically focusing on lead qualification, customer segmentation, and indirect vs. direct sales strategies
  • providing structure and consistency in operations, including implementing effective processes to streamline sales activities, priority setting, and ensuring consistent execution of sales strategies

In this position you take the lead for Sales in EMEA and APAC. You will become a sparring partner to the CEO, and part of global Sales and Customer Success.

We believe we can support the transformation of Engery and Chemical industries with smart plug-and-play sensor technology that helps companies monetize their solutions. Aloxy was launched in 2018 to build specific solutions for the chemical and energy industry to facilitate the transition to Industry 4.0. The startup successfully developed a unique and patented manual valve monitoring solution. The current solution includes a valve sensor and an industrial IoT platform, the Aloxy IIoT Hub, to manage the fleet of IoT devices, monitor and optimize the network connectivity, and feed the captured sensor data to the customers systems.

The industry 4.0 transition is in full motion and more and more industry majors are investing in IoT and wireless network infrastructures. Aloxy is scaling-up, allowing new vibrant professionals to join the team and develop their careers along with developing the organization into the next phase of professionalization.

Your talent

  • a Bachelor or Master degree in the areas of Business Administration, Sales, or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in developing strategic client relationships, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry
  • experience with selling high value solutions, ideally in IIoT, Industry 4.0, or Smart Industry
  • you have experience in Sales Management; developing vision on how sales is organized, structured and operationalized, including experience in lead qualification, customer segmentation
  • a consultative and structured sales approach, enabling you to identify relevant decision-makers within larger corporates, assess their needs, and develop value propositions that help them monetize their investments
  • you thrive in a dynamic environment, and enjoy the spirit and entrepreneurial vibes of a startup
  • you understand the complexity of larger corporate clients in de Oil & Gas industry, and know how to navigate through the decision-making unit
  • regular travel in the EMEA and APAC region is part of the deal
