Senior Solutions Architect – West Coast (US)

Our client is a fast‑growing technology company building modern infrastructure for AI‑driven applications. To support their expanding customer base, were looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join the technical sales organization and help customers design, deploy, and scale next‑generation search and AI systems.

This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise with strong customer engagement skills — someone who enjoys solving complex distributed systems challenges while guiding customers toward successful outcomes.

Your Role

Technical Leadership

• Become a subject‑matter expert in semantic search and AI‑driven retrieval systems
• Design and deploy resilient, high‑availability architectures capable of handling large‑scale workloads and strict SLAs
• Lead architectural reviews, migration assessments, and technical workshops focused on search, agentic AI, and RAG solutions

Customer Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor to technical and business stakeholders
• Represent the voice of the customer and provide structured feedback to influence product direction and roadmap decisions
• Support proof‑of‑value engagements and ensure customers achieve optimal performance, throughput, and relevance

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Business Development to shape the technical components of GTM initiatives and solution offerings
• Work closely with Engineering, Developer Relations, and Support to ensure a seamless customer experience across the lifecycle

Operational & Systems Expertise

• Tune complex distributed systems for performance and reliability
• Navigate procurement, infosec reviews, and technical contract discussions (MSAs, redlines, etc.)
• Contribute to best practices for cloud‑native deployments, including Kubernetes‑based environments

What You Bring

• 4+ years of experience delivering technical solutions in customer‑facing roles
• Strong ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Experience with Python, Go, TypeScript/JavaScript, or equivalent languages
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise sizing, pricing, and TCO modeling for distributed systems
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud‑native deployments
• Experience navigating enterprise procurement and security processes
• Strong ownership mindset and excellent communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with vector databases or search technologies (e.g., SOLR, Lucene)
• Background in AI/ML, semantic search, or large‑scale data systems
• Exposure to high‑throughput, low‑latency architectures
