Your Responsibilities

Evaluate emerging technology trends within industrial connectivity & automation
Support digital transformation initiatives across process industry environments
Help define technical strategies and implementation concepts
Act as a subject matter expert for Industrial Ethernet, Fieldbus & IIoT technologies
Collaborate with international engineering and business stakeholders
Contribute to internal standards, technical guidelines & best practices
Participate in industry working groups and standardisation initiatives

What We're Looking For

Several years of experience within industrial automation, industrial networking or process technology
Strong understanding of Industrial Ethernet / Fieldbus / IIoT environments
Experience within process industries or industrial plant environments
Ability to work strategically and communicate across technical & business teams
Background as a senior engineer, technical specialist, architect, consultant, product technology lead or technology manager

German language skills at B2 level or above and fluent English

Nice to Have

Knowledge of plant lifecycle workflows
Exposure to standardisation bodies or technical committees
Patent/IP experience
Product or technology management exposure
