Are you an experienced Manufacturing / Process Engineer who enjoys leading people while still staying close to the technology?

We are supporting an innovative Swiss technology company in the search for a Team Lead – Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead a specialist engineering team responsible for developing, industrialising and continuously improving manufacturing processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to combine people leadership with hands-on engineering and play an important role in bringing sophisticated technology products successfully into volume production.

What You will Be Doing

You will take responsibility for a team of Process Engineers and work closely with engineering, production and external manufacturing partners throughout the product lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

Lead, coach and develop a team of Process Engineers
Develop robust and scalable manufacturing and assembly processes
Support new products as they move from development into series production
Coordinate manufacturing activities with external production partners and suppliers
Drive industrialisation and manufacturing readiness for new products
Identify and implement improvements to quality, efficiency and process stability
Apply methodologies such as PFMEA and Design for Manufacturing (DfM)
Support the qualification and release of new manufacturing processes
Define effective manufacturing standards and engineering best practices
Work cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain and Production

What We are Looking For

You will ideally bring:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
Strong experience within Manufacturing / Process Engineering
Experience leading, coaching or developing engineers
Good understanding of manufacturing industrialisation and process development
Experience working with external manufacturers, production partners and/or suppliers
Knowledge of manufacturing methodologies such as PFMEA, DfM, process qualification and continuous improvement
Ability to manage complex technical topics involving multiple stakeholders
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Fluent English with good professional German
