Data Center Network & Security Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Data Center Network and Security Consultant to support the operation and maintenance of our client's data center network and security environment. This is a critical role, where 70% of the work will be focused on Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) and the rest on technologies like Cisco SAN, DWDM, and Palo Alto Firewalls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 3 support for Cisco ACI and Nexus environments.
• Implement network changes and enhancements related to Cisco ACI as part of ongoing projects.
• Conduct regular health checks on the data center network infrastructure.
• Fully manage the ACI Fabric to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Assist with other network technologies, including Cisco SAN and Palo Alto Firewalls, as needed.

Key Requirements:

Must-have:

• Expertise in Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) and Nexus (OOB).
• Proficiency in dynamic routing protocols, specifically BGP.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and firewalling, ideally with Palo Alto experience.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Good to have:

• Experience with Cisco SAN network environments.
• Familiarity with DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing).
• Exposure to F5 BIG-IP load balancing solutions.

Working Conditions:

• Onboarding: One week on-site in Biel, Switzerland.
• Remote work: Flexibility for remote work after the onboarding week, with occasional on-site presence in Biel when needed.
