Job Description:
Are you passionate about neurorehabilitation and eager to work in an innovative, research-driven environment? Were looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) with a specialization in neurology whos fluent in German and English to join a young, dynamic, and interdisciplinary team working for a recognized leader in rehabilitation in the Lucerne region.
Your Impact:
You will bring your hands-on experience in neurological rehabilitation to support patients on their recovery journey. Through personalized therapy plans, you will empower individuals to regain independence - whether through one-on-one sessions, group therapy, or telerehabilitation programs. You will also actively participate in a research project that focuses on expanding patients' therapy time at home via digital treatment tools.
Your daily tasks include:
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions independently
- Design and implement tailored therapy and training programs
- Choose appropriate assistive devices based on patient needs
- Support a telerehabilitation project to extend training into patients homes
- Work closely with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
- Document accurately and ensure proper service coding
- Collaborate with research teams to drive innovation in neurorehabilitation
What background do you need?
- Degree or academic qualification in Occupational Therapy
- SRK recognition (or in process)
- Experience and solid know-how in neurology
- Curiosity and motivation to contribute to clinical research
- Team player with a collaborative spirit
- Strong German and English communication skills
