I'm currently supporting a high-impact, technology-driven environment in Switzerland in their search for a Workplace / Endpoint Engineer to join their IT team.

This is a long-term, stable opportunity within a highly structured organisation, ideal for someone who wants to own, improve and modernise a large-scale Windows environment.

The Role

You will join a Windows Client Engineering team responsible for managing and evolving a large enterprise endpoint landscape (500+ devices).

This is not just support — this is engineering + automation + continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and improving Windows client environments & software distribution
Automating OS, application & driver deployments (PowerShell / tooling)
Handling 2nd & 3rd level issues with a root-cause mindset
Supporting and enhancing endpoint security platforms
Driving modernisation initiatives (e.g. Intune / cloud integration)
Contributing to projects & potentially stepping into technical leadership / service ownership

Your Profile

Background in IT / Computer Science + hands-on endpoint engineering experience
Strong knowledge of Windows environments + PowerShell
Experience with automation, packaging, and configuration management tools
Exposure to large-scale environments (500+ endpoints)
Bonus: experience with REST APIs / integrations

Languages:
German B2+ (essential)
English (professional level)
