Associate – M&A & Strategy

Salary: Up to $2,000-$2,800/month
Remote – LATAM-based candidates only

About the Role

This Associate – M&A & Strategy position is ideal for professionals with 3–5 years of experience in M&A, transaction advisory, valuation, investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance. Youll work directly with the Founder in a boutique advisory environment, supporting transaction execution, market research, and strategic analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build financial models (valuation, transaction analysis, scenario modeling)
• Prepare client‑ready materials and presentations in PowerPoint
• Assist in drafting reports, memos, research insights, and analytical commentary
• Business development: work with founder to develop materials, white papers, market research, and build the company brand
• Participate in project update discussions with clients as limited

Role Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, naturally curious, enjoys solving problems
• Advanced Excel skills (must be independently proficient)
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation development skills
• Prior exposure to M&A, transaction advisory, valuation, IB, PE, or corporate finance
• Ability to operate independently in a high‑ownership environment

Compensation

Salary: $2,000 – $2,800 USD/month

• Competitive base (LATAM contractor)
• Deal‑based commission paid upon closing
