Finance & Accounting Lead

Salary: Up to $2,000 USD/month
Remote – LATAM-based candidates only

TalentCross partners with U.S.-based companies to connect them with top LATAM talent. We're currently hiring a hands-on Finance & Accounting Lead to take full ownership of day-to-day financial operations for a growing U.S. client.

About the Role
This role is focused on execution and ownership—ensuring accounting, payroll, and reporting run smoothly so leadership has accurate, reliable financial visibility without needing to stay involved in the details.

Responsibilities

• Own QuickBooks end-to-end (transactions, reconciliations, monthly close)
• Manage invoicing, collections, and bill payments
• Run payroll via Gusto and support onboarding setup
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports
• Support cash flow tracking and basic forecasting
• Coordinate tax filings and compliance (1099s, W-2s, etc.)
• Maintain clean, organized, and up-to-date financial records

Requirements

• 4–8+ years in accounting or finance roles
• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks
• Experience with payroll systems (Gusto or similar)
• Familiarity with U.S. accounting and tax processes
• High attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work independently and fully own outcomes

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting U.S.-based companies remotely
• Exposure to budgeting / forecasting
• CPA or progress toward certification
