We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure and deployment workflows. The role involves collaborating with multiple teams to identify automation opportunities and standardize infrastructure-as-code practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated infrastructure and deployment processes using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and related technologies;
  • Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to identify areas for automation and promote consistent IaC practices across all environments;
  • Contribute to building scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure automation workflows;
  • Document automation standards, procedures, and architectural decisions to ensure clarity, consistency, and maintainability;
  • Mentor team members and share knowledge on best practices in infrastructure automation.

Requirements:

  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure and platform automation, with strong expertise in Ansible (playbooks, roles, collections) and Terraform (modules, state management, workspaces);
  • Solid experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and its core services (compute, networking, storage, IAM) automated via IaC;
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.) to integrate tools, develop custom modules, and automate operational tasks;
  • Strong understanding of Linux administration, networking fundamentals, and security best practices in automated environments, including secrets management, least privilege, and compliance as code;
  • Excellent communication skills, able to clearly explain complex automation concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Proven experience collaborating in cross-functional teams, facilitating workshops, and capturing requirements to align automation priorities;
  • Strong documentation skills for creating runbooks, architecture diagrams, and standards that others can follow and extend;
  • Collaborative, receptive to feedback, and willing to mentor junior engineers on automation processes and tooling.
  • English and Portuguese required (min B2).
