About the Role
The 3D Modeler / 3D Generalist will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D product models—primarily bottles and consumer goods—and integrating them into various digital experiences. This role focuses on modeling first, with optional animation skills being a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- 3D Product Modeling: Create accurate, high-quality 3D models of bottles and similar products, either from scratch or by working with existing CAD/3D files.
- Asset Integration: Prepare and optimize models for use across websites, animations, and marketing visuals.
- Texture & Material Creation: Develop realistic textures, lighting setups, and materials that reflect the brand's premium aesthetic.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with designers, marketers, and motion specialists to ensure 3D assets fit seamlessly into campaigns and creative concepts.
- Model Updates & Variations: Produce rapid iterations, color variations, and product configurations as needed for testing and campaign needs.
- File Management: Maintain an organized library of 3D assets, exports, and project files.
- Optional - Animation: Create short product animations, sd pins, breakouts, or explainer-style motion graphics when needed.
- Trend Awareness: Stay updated on 3D workflows, rendering techniques, and emerging tools (e.g., Blender, Cinema4D, Unreal, etc.).
Role Requirements
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in 3D modeling, product visualization, industrial design, or similar creative/technical roles.
- Technical Tools:
- Required: Blender, Cinema4D, Maya, or similar
- Required: Rendering engines (Cycles, Redshift, Octane, Arnold, etc.)
- Plus: Adobe Creative Suite for post-processing
- Plus: Basic motion or compositing (After Effects or similar)
- Modeling Expertise: Strong skills in hard-surface modeling and ability to match real-world product accuracy.
- Aesthetic & Realism: Strong understanding of lighting, materials, and realistic rendering.
- Collaboration: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.
- Adaptability: Ability to follow brand guidelines, iterate quickly, and produce consistent output.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple requests while meeting deadlines.
- Education: A related degree (3D Design, Animation, Industrial Design, Visual Arts) is preferred but not required.
