Role Overview
This role focuses on project planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring within industrial projects. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, analyzing progress, and supporting project teams with accurate planning data throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, ensuring proper planning and time management from project initiation through to completion;
- Review and analyze contractor and supplier schedules, including recovery plans, time impact analyses, extension requests, and delay claims;
- Gather and analyze data required for project planning, working closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Project Management teams;
- Assess current planning and scheduling processes, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy;
- Apply standard methodologies, tools, and best practices related to planning and scheduling;
- Develop and manage project scopes using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to ensure control and consistency;
- Ensure accuracy of schedule data, including timelines and progress, while coordinating updates, tasks, and reporting across stakeholders;
- Monitor baseline schedules, perform scenario (what-if) analysis, and develop contingency plans;
- Plan and prepare production schedules for fabrication, installation, and maintenance of industrial process systems;

Produce detailed project reports, including:
- Baseline data (planned start/finish dates, planned progress, planned manhours/units);
- Actual performance data (actual dates, progress, earned manhours/units);
- Forecast data (forecasted dates and manhours/units);
- Performance indicators such as SPI (Schedule Performance Index) and CPI (Cost Performance Index);
- Milestone Trend Analysis (MTA) and other KPIs defined by the Project Manager or organization;
- Visual reporting (charts, tables, S-curves for progress and manhours);
- Critical path analysis;
- Short-term planning views such as one-month lookahead schedules.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial plant projects;
- Degree in Engineering (Bachelor's or equivalent);
- Strong proficiency in project planning tools, particularly Primavera P6 and MS Project;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel;
- Availability to travel and work internationally (short to medium-term assignments);
- Fluency in English; additional languages such as German, Portuguese, or French are a plus.
