Site Superintendent

Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Site Superintendent to support the successful delivery of Building Envelope construction projects.

This role focuses on managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating trades and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard of quality.

The position plays a key role in leading on-site execution, maintaining safety compliance, and ensuring seamless communication between project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

• Collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain construction schedules
• Support execution of project plans while ensuring timelines and milestones are met

Site Supervision & Team Leadership

• Oversee daily site operations and coordinate activities of trades and subcontractors
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and aligned with project requirements

Health & Safety Compliance

• Enforce safety standards and ensure all personnel follow PPE and regulatory requirements
• Promote a strong safety culture across the job site

Quality Control & Assurance

• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
• Address and resolve any issues impacting workmanship or project delivery

Resource & Material Management

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and proper resource allocation

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain daily logs, track site progress, and review timesheets
• Provide regular updates to project management

Stakeholder Communication

• Participate in site meetings with engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
• Proactively identify and resolve project-related challenges

Ideal Candidate

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role
• Experience in Building Envelope or exterior construction projects
• Diploma or degree in Construction Management or related field
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and site coordination
• Familiarity with reporting tools, documentation, and construction workflows
