Trainee - Core 4 Fashion Design

Talent Diamond, in exclusive partnership with The Cut Design Academy in Vancouver, is accepting applications for the Core 4 Fashion Design Diploma a one-year, immersive training program designed for creative individuals looking to enter or advance within the global fashion industry. This opportunity is open to candidates from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman, as well as international applicants holding a valid Canadian visit visa.

Located in Vancouvers vibrant fashion and design district, The Cut Design Academy offers hands-on instruction by respected fashion educators Julie Berg, Melissa McSorley, and Magali Blanc, whose collective expertise spans couture, technical design, and global production.

Program Summary:
This diploma program delivers technical precision, creative development, and production readiness through a collaborative, studio-style learning environment. Students complete three intensive core modules, plus a choice of one elective specialization, culminating in the creation of a professional six-piece collection and portfolio.

• Fashion Design & Illustration: Concept development, trend research, croquis creation, and presentation board design

• Pattern Making & Sewing Techniques: Drafting, garment construction, and development of a final six-piece collection

• Location: Vancouver, Canada (in-person only)

• Program Duration: 1 year and 4 months (56 weeks, 1,120 hours)
