, permanent Position: Mason Talent Finder International is seeking a skilled Mason to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures made of brick, stone, and other similar materials. Key Responsibilities: - Build and repair structures made of brick, stone, and other materials - Lay out patterns and foundations according to blueprints and specifications - Mix mortar and spread it onto surfaces to be covered - Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and polish materials - Install and repair fireplaces, chimneys, and other structures - Ensure that all work is completed according to safety standards and building codes - Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects and engineers, to plan and execute projects - Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition - Keep work area clean and organized - Adhere to project timelines and deadlines Requirements: - Proven experience as a Mason or similar role - Strong knowledge of different types of masonry materials and techniques - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings - Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity - Attention to detail and precision in work - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions - High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in masonry is a plus We offer competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
