Do you love video editing and know how to do it for the right audience? We’re looking for a storyteller who lives and breathes TikTok-style content.

You'll be cranking out short form videos that stop the scroll.

We're talking fast, punchy edits in CapCut that feel native, messy in the right way, and impossible to ignore.

You'll work directly with our Head of Growth & Founder to bring viral concepts to life.

You’ll get to test new hooks to see what converts, and your work will be seen by millions.

This isn't background work. You are the core part of our business.

Role Details

Here's what you'll do:

  1. Take direction from scripts and raw UGC to shape storylines that sell

  2. Test multiple hooks, intros, and cuts to find what performs best

  3. Edit short-form UGC videos in CapCut for both paid ads and organic posts

  4. Add captions, music, stickers, and native elements that match platform trends and drive retention

  5. Brainstorm video concepts that feel organic, funny, relatable, or viral-worthy

  6. Understand the target audience and work on ads that will be actually interesting for them

  • Scroll-Stopper: You know exactly what makes people pause mid-swipe

  • Hook Master: Your intros grab attention in the first 3 seconds, guaranteed

  • Performance Thinker: You blend creative storytelling with conversion-focused editing

  • Storyteller: You take film and cut it into stories that convert

Skills & Experience

Must-Haves:

  • 2+ years of experience editing TikToks, Shorts and Reels

  • Experience in paid social content (non-negotiable)

  • Fluent in CapCut and obsessed with native editing trends

  • Know what keeps people watching: strong hooks, snappy pacing, real moments

  • Love blending creative storytelling with performance thinking

  • Reliable, fast, and responsive to feedback

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Edited for DTC brands, ad agencies, or creators

  • Made viral content yourself (personal or brand)

  • Understand basic creative strategy or can riff on ad copy

  • Can source your own audio, memes, or inspo from the algorithm

  • US $2,000 $2,500 / month (full-time contractor, 40 hrs/week)
