About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing technical team within our Adhesive Technologies business unit. In this role, you will support key global customers in the consumer electronics market by developing innovative adhesive solutions, advanced processes, and best-in-class engineering capabilities.

You will play a critical leadership role in shaping technical strategy, mentoring talent, and ensuring our laboratories and engineering capabilities remain future-ready. This position combines hands-on technical expertise with people leadership, capital planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop an engineering team supporting top-tier consumer electronics customers

  • Drive the development of new adhesive materials, films, and tape solutions

  • Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement

  • Mentor engineers and scientists, supporting long-term career growth and succession planning

  • Own and manage CapEx planning; continuously improve laboratory infrastructure and technical capabilities

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, legal requirements, and customer/industry specifications

  • Adapt engineering approaches using agile methodologies to meet evolving customer and market needs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with adhesives, films, and/or tape materials used in consumer electronics devices

  • At least 5 years of experience leading teams of 5 or more engineers or scientists as direct reports

  • Demonstrated ability to operate in agile, customer-driven environments

  • Familiarity with:

    • Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

    • Flow modeling and CAD tools

    • Laboratory automation technologies

  • Proven ability to drive innovation while maintaining operational excellence

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary of $150,000 – $185,000
