Nuclear Project Manager

Our firm is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to support complex and high-impact projects at a commercial nuclear facility. This is a pivotal role focused on delivering safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of plant initiatives, with an emphasis on regulatory compliance, project controls, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of projects related to plant systems, structures, and components.

• Interface with engineering, operations, construction, regulatory, and safety teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.

• Develop project scope, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource plans.

• Oversee contractor performance, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

• Track and report project progress, costs, and issues to leadership and internal stakeholders.

• Coordinate the preparation of technical documents, regulatory submissions, and implementation strategies.

• Conduct lessons learned reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the organization.

• Ensure projects are executed in compliance with nuclear industry regulations and site-specific procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.

• Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, ideally in a nuclear or highly regulated environment.

• PMP certification or equivalent experience with formal project management frameworks.

• Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams and executing complex technical projects.

• Strong understanding of nuclear safety principles, outage/project controls, and NRC requirements.

• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera (P6), and Microsoft Office Suite.
