About the job Multimedia Artist
We're looking for an experienced multimedia artist to work remotely with a digital marketing agency.
You are expected to know how to ideate from a brief and transform concepts into above-average designs. You will be working closely with our in-house designers and account managers to produce all manner of visual content and marketing materials for our clients across industries. To apply, you should have a solid background in digital design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate on projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor's/ College Degree in Multimedia, Advertising, Fine Arts, and equivalent
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a Multimedia Artist role, with demonstrated mastery of essential design elements, including typeface, layout, proportion, etc
- Must have a complete and updated portfolio of multimedia design content showcasing your skills and experience
- In-depth knowledge of software such as Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, and Illustrator), and related software
- Excellent knowledge of storyboarding, visual design principles, motion graphics, graphic design, and video editing
- Basic knowledge of web publishing software and a basic understanding of AI tools
- Must have artistic sensibilities, a keen eye for aesthetics and visual appeal, and an innate sense of detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure, as needed
- Takes feedback and recommendations professionally, and makes changes accordingly
Multimedia Artist Responsibilities
- Conference calls/Meetings with the internal team to determine the project scope
- Researching media techniques and design ideas for marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with our marketing team to develop engaging multimedia content, including static ads, video ads, social media posts, and other marketing materials
- Designing and producing attractive digital images, videos, animations, and other visual content according to digital marketing campaign objectives
- Conduct review and quality control of your work before submission, and based on instructions as per the campaign objectives
- Collaborate and communicate with the marketing team to establish creative production schedules and deliverables by discussing timelines, potential delays or issues, and milestones to keep the project on track
- Performing media edits based on user feedback and keeping updated with the latest design trends
