About the Role
Reporting to the Cluster GM – International Sales, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our presence in Asia. From distributor development to key account management, youll be at the forefront of driving sustainable export growth and ensuring our products meet evolving market needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead market entry, penetration, and expansion strategies in China and Indonesia.
- Develop distributors, manage key accounts, and expand sales channels.
- Build and nurture long-term business relationships with overseas distributors, importers, retailers, and food service partners.
- Drive short-term and long-term sales and business development plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing).
- Monitor customer touchpoints to understand market requirements, regulatory expectations, and consumer trends.
- Support new product development and market-specific adaptations (pack formats, labeling, compliance, pricing).
- Ensure excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement, reinforcing our reputation as a reliable, quality-driven export partner.
- Manage customer databases, pricing structures, contract negotiations, and approval processes.
- Represent the company at international trade fairs, buyer meetings, and market development activities, particularly those linked to China market expansion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Business Management, International Trade, Food Science, Agriculture, Chemistry, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience in export sales, preferably within the food & beverage industry, with exposure to Asian markets. Experience in China and/or Indonesia is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is essential; working knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of export sales operations, including pricing, contracts, documentation, regulatory compliance, and distributor management.
- Excellent negotiation skills, cultural sensitivity, and cross-cultural communication ability.
- Dynamic, values-driven team player with high learning agility and confidence to challenge the status quo.
- Strong numerical and analytical capability with attention to detail in forecasting, pricing, and margin management.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholder groups.
