Company Background:

We are representing our client, which is a reputable large-scale industrial solar solutions provider based in Shah Alam, Selangor with nationwide operations. As their expansion, they are looking for an Accounts & Finance Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership & Team Management 
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team.
  • Ensure all daily accounting entries, payment processing, and payroll are handled accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain a structured and organized filing system for all financial records to ensure audit readiness at all times. 
Project Costing & Cash Flow (Solar EPC Focus) 
  • Cost-Benefit Analysis: Perform rigorous "Budget vs. Actual" tracking for every Solar EPC project.
  • Progress Billing: Manage the complex billing cycles for C&I (Commercial & Industrial) clients, ensuring timely collections to maintain working capital.
  • Supplier Payments: Coordinate with the procurement team to manage payments for high-value equipment (panels, inverters) without disrupting cash flow. 
Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing 
  • Manage the "Full Set" of accounts, including Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
  • Prepare monthly management reports that highlight project margins and departmental spending. 
Tax, Incentives & Statutory Compliance 
  • Tax Filing: Handle SST submissions and coordinate with tax agents for corporate tax planning.
  • Audit Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for external auditors and ensure compliance with MPERS/MFRS.
Banking & Governance 
  • Perform daily banking activities, including bank reconciliations and monitoring of credit facilities.
  • Oversee the internal check-signing process and ensure all banking authorities are documented and updated.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance. MIA Membership is highly preferred.
  • 3–5 years in accounting, preferably with 1–2 years in a supervisory role within the Construction, Engineering, or Renewable Energy sectors.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, AutoCount, or SAP. Expert level Excel skills for project cost tracking.

Working Hours & Days: 9am to 6pm (Mon-Fri)
