The hiring company is a growing manufacturer specializing in high-quality wooden picture frame mouldings, serving both domestic and export markets, and is currently expanding its commercial footprint.

Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives, expand the customer base, and strengthen relationships within the wood-based and related industries. This role offers the opportunity to work within a larger group structure while driving business growth at the operating company level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in local and international markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key clients
  • Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and product opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with market demand
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and business plans
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and client engagements

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar commercial role
  • Experience in wood-based products, furniture, building materials, or related industries is an advantage
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Independent, results-oriented, and commercially driven
  • Exposure to export markets and international trade is an added advantage
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally

Additional Information

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Reporting to: Senior Management (Managing Director)
  • Newly created position due to business expansion
  • Company size: Approximately 200 employees
