Position Title: Workshop Manager 

Work Location: Puchong, Selangor 

Job Summary: 

Leads and develops the fabrication team to obtain efficient productivity while reaching strategic goals. Manages the fabrication process to ensure high quality product is delivered to meet clients' demand, while ensuring the safety of the fabrication team.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Scheduling work orders to ensure productivity, utilization and efficiency
• Analyze data for inventory management to ensure good stock management and turnaround time. 
• Provide leadership to mentor, coach, motivate and upskill the team and to nurture a culture of excellent customer service
• Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the workshop operations
• Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety audits, and promote a safe working environment for all workshop colleagues
• Manage relationships with equipment suppliers, negotiate service contracts, and coordinate warranty claims
• Communicate with customers regarding service and product requests and provide solutions to resolve customers' feedback
• Prepare monthly operational and safety reports for management reporting
• Ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance tasks

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment/ engineering/ service environment. 
• 2 years of experience in leadership roles
• Familiarity with WSH / HSE regulations and practices
• Good understanding of budget planning for workshop
• Process-driven mindset
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail
• Demonstrate high level of customer centricity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to quality
