Senior Finance Executive

Company Background

We are representing our client, a leading Malaysian fintech and money services provider based in Damansara Intan, Petaling Jaya. As they are expanding, they are looking for Senior Finance Executive (specializing in Reconciliation & Project Support) to join their team.

Job Description:

• Transaction Reconciliation & Finance Operations
• Perform transaction-level reconciliations between source systems, bank statements, and general ledger to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Identify, analyse, and resolve unmatched items, timing differences, posting errors, and system interface issues.
• Investigate discrepancies arising from cut-off issues, manual journals, reversals, or data integrity gaps.
• Prepare reconciliation schedules with clear audit trails and supporting documentation.
• Support month-end closing activities, including journal entries and balance sheet schedules.
• Support user requirement gathering and documentation for transaction matching, exception handling, and reconciliation workflows.
• Assist in preparing functional documentation such as process flows, data mapping, and reconciliation logic.
• Support data extraction, cleansing, validation, and standardisation for system testing and migration.
• Documentation & Control Support: Maintain SOPs, reconciliation documentation, UAT results, and project artefacts.

Job requirement

• Minimum Diploma or degree in related field
• At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience in transaction-level reconciliations and finance operations.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end transaction flows from source systems to bank and GL.

- Working Hours: Mon - Fri (9:00am - 6:00pm)
- Contract Duration: 12 months (Renewable and turn into permanent role)
- Location at Damansara Intan (Walkable distance from MRT TTDI)
