Production Manager (EV Automotive Components)

Company Background

We are representing our client a national high-tech manufacturer specializing in the production of magnetic component solutions such as transformers, inductors, chokes, which are widely used in electrical vehicles (EV) and EV Charging System.

• Working Hours: Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm and Alternate Sat: 8:30am-1pm

Job Summary

This position will lead the factory organization to achieve the introduction of new products, trial production support, production progress control, product quality, product cost, inventory management, transportation, and communication with China headquarters, leading the factory manufacturing department to meet customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Plan and organize production schedules to meet demand.
• Promote the factory to create profits, customer satisfaction, quality cost, inventory, productivity, organizational development and other operational indicators;
• Develop, implement, and review appropriate short-term and long-term plans to achieve designated plant and group objectives, such as profit plans, cost control, and customer-based forecasts, and commit to achieving established goals;
• Through the coordination and guidance of all functions of facility operation, including but not limited to manufacturing, asset utilization, inventory control, facility control, maintenance, manufacturing projects and research, cost control, manpower utilization, work standards and management;
• Ensure compliance with all government, financial, environmental, and labor regulations; establish effective communication and teamwork between the factory operations and other functional departments of the headquarters and other teams in other regions;
• Supervise and manage junior staff, providing guidance and support.
• Organize and facilitate relevant training sessions to enhance team skills.
• Liaising and coordinating production with other departments.
• Monitor workers discipline and resolve labour disputes.
• Manage administrative tasks like production report, schedules, and timesheets.
• Participate audit exercise and follow thru on NCR.
• Any other duties assigned from Management time to time.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Engineering or Science and Technology.
• Possess manufacturing experience in magnetic devices and car-related accessories.
• 8-10 years of working experience in the same industry, with the ability to continuously improve in manufacturing and engineering.
• Ability to speak in BOTH Chinese and English language is mandatory for this role as required to communicate with HQ based in China.
• Familiar with ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF16949 and other system certifications
