About the job Senior Pastry
We reprsenting our client which is in F&B Industry based in Ipoh Perak, they are one of the leading pastries and bakeries in Perak. Currently with 14 bakeries outlet in Perak, along with 2 hype and buzzing pastries cafés in Selangor.
Job Responsibilities:
- Uphold top-tier quality and consistency across all pastry and bakery products.
- Innovate and refine recipes, ensuring an authentic yet contemporary product offering.
- Oversee quality control processes to maintain high standards in taste, texture, and presentation.
Manage inventory of baking ingredients to ensure freshness and availability. - Provide training and mentorship to junior bakers, cultivating a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate with product development and management teams to launch new and seasonal creations in line with market trends.
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring a clean and professional workspace.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant pastry or bakery experience.
- A culinary degree or equivalent certification in pastry arts, bakery, or related fields.
- Proven expertise as a Pastry Chef, Bakery Chef, or R&D Chef, specializing in bakery innovations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and inspire a team.
- Deep knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient properties, and recipe creation.
- A creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for exploring flavors, textures, and presentations.
