Compensation: RM5,000/month (Allowance for first 6 months) + High Commission

A growing company in the home wellness and appliance industry is looking for a Sales Group Manager to build, lead, and drive a high-performing sales team. This role is ideal for experienced sales leaders, especially those from direct sales or water filter/home appliance backgrounds, who are motivated by performance-based rewards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, lead, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives.
  • Build a collaborative and performance-driven team culture.
  • Monitor and guide team performance to ensure achievement of sales targets.

2. Market Expansion & Strategy

  • Drive sales growth in new and existing markets, with a focus on expanding reach among local consumers.
  • Identify business opportunities, customer trends, and expansion channels.
  • Participate in planning and execution of roadshows, exhibitions, and promotional events.

3. Sales Execution & Collaboration

  • Work with the marketing team to roll out effective campaigns and sales tools.
  • Ensure product messaging is clear, localized, and compelling to the target audience.
  • Analyze sales data and continuously optimize strategies for better results.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with customers, agents, and business partners.
  • Represent the company at events and external functions to drive brand visibility.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth operational and customer support processes.

5. Financial & Operational Oversight

  • Manage team budgets, sales targets, and resource allocation.
  • Improve efficiency in sales operations and resolve bottlenecks as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership and managerial experience in direct sales, retail, or consumer good industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing or coaching sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of local market dynamics, consumer behaviour, and sales
  • strategies.
  • Experience in online sales, shopping mall operations, or kiosk management will be an
  • added advantage.
  • Fluent in Malay and English (spoken & written)
  • Goal-oriented, analytical, and able to thrive in a performance-based role.

Working Hours & Structure

  • Weekdays (Mon-Fri): Flexible working hours at HQ in Puchong
  • Weekends (Sat-Sun): Involves attending exhibitions, roadshows, or sales events (rest days apply when no events are scheduled).
  • Ideal for individuals who are highly driven by commission and want to take charge of a sales-driven team.
