Company Background

We are representing our client a federal statutory body in Malaysia responsible to look for a Senior Executive Data & Analytics to join the team

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze the performance data of operators from technical and financial perspectives
• Translate data into findings and insights for regulatory purposes
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and analytical presentations
• Develop strategic matrices
• Support compliance monitoring, strategic planning, and policy formulation
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of regulatory data
• Collaborate with technical, economic, and enforcement teams

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science / Statistics / Mathematics, Finance / Economics / Risk Management, Civil Engineering / Environmental Engineering
• A Master's degree or advanced coursework in a related field is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis and descriptive statistics
• Experience in operations management, cost optimization, asset management and strategic projects 
• Advanced Excel, Python/R, Power BI/Tableau for KPI dashboards, or equivalent tools
• CAPEX/OPEX, ROI, operating margins, and optimal cost management
• Able to integrate technical, financial, risk, and data analysis.
• Demonstrated success in improving operational efficiency, financial performance, and organizational resilience.

Job details:

• Working hours: Mon-Fri 
• 2 years contract (Subject to conversion to permanent based on performance)
• Working location : Cyberjaya
