We are representing our client a specialist in Data Protection is looking for a driven and energetic Business Development Executive who is passionate about helping organizations solve real cybersecurity challenges to join the team

Job Responsibilities:

Sales & Pipeline Development

  • Build a strong understanding of our cybersecurity products and services
  • Generate leads through cold outreach, networking, events, partnerships, and digital channels
  • Identify, qualify, and engage IT and cybersecurity decision-makers within target industries
  • Convert qualified leads into sales opportunities through effective discovery and value-based pitching
  • Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal, negotiation, and handover for implementation
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline to support sales targets

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, demos, and proposal materials
  • Maintain strong customer engagement through timely follow-ups and proactive communication
  • Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders and strategic clients

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Tech teams to refine strategies and meet shared goals 
  • Provide feedback to internal teams based on market insights and client interactions

Professional Growth

  • Continuously expand your industry network and stay updated on market trends
  • Participate in ongoing training to improve your product knowledge and sales capabilities

Job Requirements

  • Postgraduate Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in IT or Cybersecurity sales roles
  • Exposure to enterprise clients or regulated industries
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability in lead generation, customer engagement, and building relationships
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel when required

Job details:

  • Permanent employment
  • Working hours : 8:30am - 5:30pm/9am - 6pm/9:30am - 6:30pm (Monday - Friday)
  • Benefits:
  • Phone bill claim of up to RM50/month upon confirmation
