Location: Hybrid (3 days/week) in Prague, Czech Republic

The Role

We're looking for an MLRO to take over and lead all AML/CFT and compliance operations in line with Czech and EU crypto regulatory frameworks. You'll be the primary contact for regulators and take full ownership of the AML strategy and execution for a crypto business operating in a tightly regulated environment.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee all AML/CFT processes and ensure full compliance with Czech AML law, MiCA, and DORA
  • Act as the primary point of contact with the Czech FIU and other relevant authorities
  • Build, update, and enforce the internal AML/CFT policies and procedures
  • Supervise transaction monitoring, KYC, and SAR processes
  • Provide internal AML training and keep the company up to date on regulatory changes
  • Work closely with the executive and legal teams to support licensing and audit requirements
  • Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory submissions and inspections

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience as MLRO or Deputy MLRO in a regulated financial or crypto environment
  • Experience with MiCA, DORA, and virtual asset compliance
  • Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations in the Czech Republic and EU
  • Fluency in Czech and English
  • Familiar with ICT risk management, incident response, and third-party vendor oversight
  • Comfortable with taking ownership in a fast-moving, startup-style environment
  • Able to work onsite in Prague at least 3 times/week during regular working hours
