Operations & Production Supervisor

Bowen Hills | $80,000 – $100,000 + Vehicle Allowance

Outdoor media looks simple from the road. It's not.

Behind every digital screen and billboard is logistics, coordination, maintenance schedules, contractors, and the occasional this needs fixing now.

A growing outdoor media operator across South East Queensland needs someone to keep its network live, compliant, and moving forward.

This isnt a clipboard-and-coffee role. It's equal parts coordination, problem-solving, and getting your hands dirty when required.

The Role That Actually Needs Filling

The business is expanding its asset footprint. More sites. More upgrades. More moving parts.

This role exists to make sure:

  • Screens stay operational

  • Builds land on time

  • Trades turn up and deliver properly

  • Preventative maintenance actually happens

  • Small issues don't become expensive ones

It's about ownership. Not task-taking.

Some days will be on-site at height. Others are coordinating suppliers. Occasionally, both before lunch.

What Success Looks Like

Within 6–12 months, this person will:

  • Run day-to-day operational issues without escalation

  • Coordinate installs and upgrades like clockwork

  • Have trades and suppliers responding quickly because expectations are clear

  • Reduce downtime across the network

  • Introduce small process improvements that make the whole operation smoother

  • Free up senior leadership to focus on growth instead of firefighting

In short: less noise, fewer problems, more control.

Who This Suits

This will suit:

  • A tradesperson who's tired of being just on the tools and wants broader responsibility

  • A facilities or maintenance coordinator who doesn't mind getting hands-on

  • Someone practical who thinks in solutions, not excuses

You'll need:

  • Confidence using tools and working at heights

  • White Card (non-negotiable)

  • EWP (over 11m) or willingness to obtain

  • Forklift (LF) helpful

  • Solid Excel and basic systems capability

  • The ability to organise multiple moving parts without dropping one

Most importantly: reliability and ownership. If something breaks, this person doesn't wait for permission — they fix it or organise someone who can.

The Conditions

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
  • Occasional early starts or after-hours work

  • One on-call weekend per month (time in lieu provided)

  • Bowen Hills base with regular site travel

  • Own Vehicle required (Vehicle allowance included)

Why Its Worth Considering

  • Established operator with a growing asset base

  • Genuine pathway into broader operational leadership

  • Real autonomy — not micromanagement

  • Variety: field work, coordination, problem-solving

  • A role that actually matters to the commercial performance of the business

This is a steady, long-term opportunity for someone who wants responsibility without stepping fully off the tools.

If stability, growth, and real ownership appeal — this one's worth a closer look.
