About the job HR Manager (Construction)
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager with a strong background in the UAE construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing end-to-end HR functions, ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws, and supporting large-scale construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full HR cycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies
Handle workforce planning for ongoing and upcoming construction projects
Manage employee engagement, retention strategies, and organizational development
Oversee payroll coordination, compensation & benefits, and HR administration
Support senior management with HR insights and reporting
Maintain and update HR systems, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in HR, with at least 5+ years as an HR Manager
Mandatory experience in the UAE construction industry
Strong knowledge of UAE labor law and HR best practices
Experience handling large manpower (blue-collar & white-collar workforce)
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
HR certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) are a plus
Experience with HR systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
