Key duties include developing detailed project plans, coordinating with stakeholders (artists, galleries, and other partners), managing budgets and resources, and overseeing team members. This role also involves risk assessment, problem-solving, and ensuring high-quality project outcomes that align with organizational objectives.
Core responsibilities
- Project planning: Develop and implement detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for exhibitions, events, or other visual arts initiatives.
- Stakeholder management: Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders and clients, fostering clear communication and ensuring alignment across all parties, including artists, internal teams, and external partners.
- Team leadership: Manage and motivate project teams, providing coaching and guidance to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Budget and resource management: Oversee project financials, monitor spending, and ensure the efficient use of resources to achieve project goals.
- Quality and risk control: Implement quality control measures, conduct risk assessments, and develop mitigation plans to address potential challenges and ensure successful project delivery.
- Reporting and documentation: Prepare and present project reports, track progress, and maintain thorough project documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as visual arts, design, business administration, or project management.
