Job Opportunity: Supplier Relations Manager Ajman Government

We are hiring on behalf of the Government of Ajman for the position of:

Supplier Relations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop standards for the registration and classification of approved suppliers for government entities.
  • Approve the registration and classification of suppliers into homogeneous groups and establish a proper numbering system for each supplier in the supplier registry.
  • Propose updates to the registration fees in the supplier registry.
  • Continuously develop strategies to attract a broad base of qualified suppliers, enhance competition, and suggest value-added services for them.
  • Follow up on supplier feedback and suggestions to consider them in performance improvement and development.
  • Oversee the implementation of the advanced procurement system and propose improvement opportunities for its development.
  • Provide immediate solutions to any obstacles that hinder the optimal use of the advanced procurement system.
  • Prepare and develop procurement policies and procedures.
  • Supervise the process of supplier recognition and appreciation.

General Duties:

  • Coordinate with the relevant organizational unit to document, update, and develop the departments operational framework.
  • Participate in executing operational activities to achieve the departments defined performance indicators.
  • Contribute to identifying the department's strengths and weaknesses, as well as its threats and opportunities.
  • Participate in setting individual operational objectives aligned with the departments operational goals and the strategic objectives of the organization.
  • Identify personal training needs in accordance with assigned tasks, responsibilities, and performance indicator results.
  • Contribute to analyzing the departments operations to identify critical activities and develop a business continuity plan.
  • Participate in identifying, analyzing, and assessing risks related to the departments operations and provide recommendations for managing them.
  • Carry out any other tasks assigned, provided they fall within the scope of his/her responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: AED 22,000 25,000
