Job Description

Core Duties & Responsibilities

Digital Campaign Management

  • Proactively engage and maintain regular status and forward planning meetings and discussions with external digital agencies to define and align on audience targeting identification, paid search and social content, reach and engagement objectives as well as maintaining up-to-date media budget expenditure
  • Create campaign landing pages to test different user journeys and entry points using coding enhancements, A/B testing, multivariate testing, and data analysis

Website and eDM Development

  • Utilize coding languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build and enhance existing web templates for digital marketing campaigns, ensuring responsiveness, user experience, and adherence to brand guidelines and SEO best practices
  • Supporting the eDM requirements across the different departments within the company, the candidate will be required to code and develop custom eDM templates using HTML and CSS, adhering to Eloqua guidelines incorporating dynamic content, personalization, and responsive design principles to optimize deliverability and engagement across various email clients and devices

Campaign and Social Channel Management

  • Primarily for live events [Dubai Sports World and The Majlis] that are managed by the Digital Marketing team, this role requires coordination with the social agency to plan and execute social content calendars, review responses and queries highlighted in community management, oversee on-ground activations and competitions driving social engagement
  • The candidate will also be responsible for initiating the brief with the agency for the social content scope and ensuring all aspects are delivered

Website Content Management

  • The company's main corporate as well its sub-brands website portfolio has been designed, developed and built on Umbraco Heartcore Web Content Management System (CMS), centrally managed by the Digital Marketing team. Following initial CMS training, the Senior Marketing Executive will be required to frequently undertake website content updates across these websites, ensuring department SLAs are met
  • The candidate will be required to prepare monthly website performance reports for all websites managed by the digital marketing team. Reports will need to be shared with the respective department heads in line with the agreed SLAs

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintains up-to-date tracking of all website updates and requests received
  • Support the Associate Director Digital Marketing in submitting the bi-annual department performance across all digital marketing deliverables

Operating Environment

  • Office-based job; require working longer hours on a computer
  • Active content management across all digital channels and platforms. May be required to work outside of typical office working hours
  • Occasional working over weekends and/or public due to events taking place and social content production

Formal Education

  • Bachelors degree in digital marketing or related equivalent is preferred, such as:
  1. Digital Marketing
  2. Computer Science
  3. Applied Digital Marketing/Communications
  4. New Age Marketing
  • Broader Marketing and Communications Bachelors degree will also be considered, such as:
  1. Marketing
  2. Integrated Marketing Communications
  3. Marketing/Brand Management

Work Experience

  • Minimum three years work experience in a digital marketing role within medium to large service organizations
  • Prior professional experience and exposure to developing websites, managing content using Content Management Systems, developing eDMs is a mandatory requirement

Skills & Knowledge

  • Excellent command of written and verbal English language, with the ability to curate and create short-form written English-language content such as headlines, captions, social posts and comments
  • Good command of Arabic language - verbal and written would also be preferable
  • Should have knowledge, experience and past exposure with digital and social media and/or PR & communications agencies
  • Strong interpersonal skills with persuasive and independent personality
  • Google Digital Marketing Certification and or Google Garage Module Completion
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) preferably Umbraco
