Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manager Core Banking Assets Products Technologies to join a prestigious Islamic bank in Dubai. This is a hands-on techno-functional role focused on Temenos Transact (T24) with specialization in Assets/Lending product lifecycle management, especially aligned with Islamic finance (Murabaha, Ijara).
Key Responsibilities
Temenos Product Configuration Lending/Assets:
- End-to-end configuration of loan products in Temenos Transact (T24) using Arrangement Architecture (AA).
- Set up product structures including Term Loans, Revolving Credit, Syndicated Loans, and Islamic Murabaha/Ijara.
- Define parameters like interest/profit rates, repayment schedules, fees, and prepayment penalties.
- Configure collateral management rules: pledges, liens, LTV ratios.
Loan Lifecycle Management:
- Manage full lifecycle from origination to closure, including disbursements, servicing, restructuring, and write-offs.
- Set up accounting and amortization logic (e.g., straight-line, declining balance).
- Implement NPA (Non-Performing Asset) workflows and IFRS9 provisioning rules.
Technical Leadership & Integration:
- Expert-level understanding of T24 modules: LD (Lending), AA, CO (Collateral), LIM (Loan IQ Migration).
- Customize/enhance Temenos BASIC routines and scripts for lending workflows.
- Integrate with external platforms: Payment Hubs, Credit Bureaus, Rating Agencies.
- Troubleshoot system issues: COB failures, accounting mismatches, and batch job errors.
Stakeholder Management & Delivery Oversight:
- Conduct business requirements gathering and propose solution designs aligned with best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and business units to ensure successful delivery.
- Perform post-implementation reviews and drive enhancements based on feedback.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business.
- Minimum 68 years of IT experience, including direct implementation of Temenos Transact Lending Products.
- Strong techno-functional background with both business process understanding and technical development.
- Practical knowledge of Project Management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
- Hands-on experience using tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or BMC Remedy.
