About the job Vice President Corporate Social Responsibility (
Position Overview:
The Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) will be a key strategic leader driving the organization's commitment to social impact, sustainability, and ethical governance. This role is central to aligning the government entitys initiatives with national visions such as UAE Centennial 2071, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and the UAE Net Zero 2050 strategy.
The VP will oversee the development, execution, and promotion of CSR programs that create measurable value for society, enhance corporate reputation, and position the entity as a pioneer in responsible government leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Vision

Design and lead the CSR strategy, ensuring alignment with national and global sustainability frameworks.

Embed CSR principles across departments, ensuring they become integral to decision-making, policy development, and organizational culture.

Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on emerging social and environmental risks and opportunities.
Program Development & Implementation

Lead cross-functional teams to deliver impactful programs across areas such as environmental sustainability, youth empowerment, education, innovation, community health, and employee volunteering.

Identify key social challenges relevant to Dubai and develop responsive initiatives that deliver long-term public value.
Partnerships & Advocacy

Cultivate high-impact partnerships with NGOs, academic institutions, federal ministries, private sector entities, and international organizations.

Represent the entity in CSR forums, government task forces, and regional sustainability conferences.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

Define clear KPIs and implement measurement frameworks to track impact and ensure transparency.

Oversee the preparation of annual CSR and sustainability reports, aligned with global standards (e.g., GRI, ISO 26000, UNGC).

Ensure compliance with local CSR regulations and contribute to national policy development.
Brand, Communication & Engagement

Collaborate with the Communications & PR team to craft compelling narratives around CSR achievements and campaigns.

Promote a culture of civic engagement and social innovation across the organization through awareness campaigns and employee programs.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.

1215 years of progressive experience in CSR, ESG, sustainability, or public sector impact programs, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven track record in designing and delivering large-scale CSR or public impact initiatives in the UAE.

Deep understanding of UAE government structures, Vision 2031, Net Zero commitments, and regulatory CSR compliance.

Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.

Fluent in both Arabic and English.
