AVP - Domestic Cards Schemes Engineering

Job Purpose:

Aligning IT and Business strategy to ensure that technology is seen as partner to fulfill business objectives. To lead the assigned projects in order to ensure timely completion of projects initiatives / tasks within approved budget in order to meet strategic technology road map.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage programs/projects related to domestic cards schemes and ensure deliverables on time and within the approved budget.
• Engage proactively with project stakeholders for timely resolution of program/projects related risks/issues to avoid impact on project timelines.
• Ensure all the activities comply with policies & procedures of IT dept & the bank.
• Provide adequate support, guidance & motivation to the team members in order to ensure the achievement of assigned projects.
• Review and provide regular portfolio status reports in order to update the management regarding status of current project initiatives and/or on the tasks assigned.
• Responsible to provide audit input requirements, close all assigned audit observations and provide closing evidences related to your area to IT-QA team or audit team in a timely manner.
• Responsible for leading transformation / automation for his respective business unit to support overall strategy transformation.
• Ensure all assigned tasks and projects are executed within the approved policies, procedures of the department.
• All the above accountabilities include but not limited to any additional / new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Degree in IT / Business.

Experience:

• Minimum 7 - 8 years in Information Technology.
• Must have hands on experience in implementing banking applications.
