About the job (Senior) Sales Manager - Data Center Thermal Solutions

Our client is a global engineering solutions business supporting mission-critical infrastructure across data centers, industrial environments, and high-spec technical applications. The company delivers advanced thermal and cooling solutions and is continuing to expand its footprint in the fast-growing data center sector across Asia.
This is an exciting time to join the business in Thailand. The market is developing quickly, and the company is looking to strengthen its local presence by hiring a commercially strong sales professional who can help build relationships, open doors, and grow project opportunities in the data center space.
YOUR ROLE
You will take ownership of a sales-focused role targeting the data center market in Thailand. This is a senior individual contributor position with strong autonomy and a clear growth mandate.
The role will suit someone who is commercially driven, knows how to build pipeline, and understands how major projects move through the market, whether through owners, consultants, EPCs, contractors, or related stakeholders.
You do not need to come from the exact same product background to be successful. If you understand the data center ecosystem, know how to start the right conversations, and have experience selling technical or infrastructure-related solutions, this role could be a strong fit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive new business development within the data center segment in Thailand
- Identify and track project opportunities across data center owners, colocation operators, consultants, EPCs, contractors, and related market stakeholders
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers involved in project planning and execution
- Support early-stage opportunity development, including market mapping, project tracking, and commercial engagement
- Work closely with internal technical and regional teams to shape solutions and support customer discussions
- Lead customer-facing commercial discussions and help progress opportunities through the sales cycle
- Follow projects from early engagement through quotation, clarification, negotiation, and closing stages
- Maintain visibility on project pipelines, customer movement, and commercial progress
- Represent the business professionally in the market and help strengthen local brand presence in the sector
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or another relevant field
- Around 5+ years of B2B sales experience in data center, HVAC, cooling, critical infrastructure, industrial systems, or related project-based environments
- Proven ability to develop new business and build pipeline independently
- Strong commercial mindset with confidence in customer-facing discussions
- Experience engaging with external stakeholders such as consultants, EPCs, contractors, owners, operators, or key accounts
- Good understanding of long-cycle, project-driven sales
- Strong communication skills in both Thai and English
- Structured, proactive, and comfortable working with regional teams

STRONGLY PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Exposure to the data center ecosystem in Thailand or the wider region
- Experience selling technical, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, cooling, or infrastructure-related solutions
- Familiarity with owners, consultants, EPCs, contractors, or design-influenced project sales
- Track record in long-cycle, specification-led, or project-based selling
- Experience in critical environments where reliability, solution quality, and stakeholder coordination matter
- Regional or cross-border exposure is an advantage
