Position Summary

As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in managing expense-side operations for clients in fast-paced industries. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, eager to grow, and able to balance hands-on accounting with supervision and process improvement. You will start by managing one major logistics client and progress in handling multiple accounts as you develop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and expense-side operations, including vendor payments, driver claims, and outsourced services.
  • Verify and categorize expenses; oversee data accuracy entered by junior staff.
  • Supervise a small team of junior accountants; train and support their growth.
  • Act as primary contact with external auditors and ensure audit readiness.
  • Support monthly financial reporting, including analysis and presentations to management.
  • Liaise with Thai authorities for compliance and registrations as needed.
  • Embrace automation and AI tools to shift from manual entry to verification, reporting, and analysis.

Qualifications

  • Thai national, fluent in Thai with good English communication skills.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2 to 10 years of accounting experience; open to both junior and experienced candidates.
  • CPA/CPD certification is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Thai taxation (VAT, WHT) preferred but not mandatory.
  • Confident in communicating with Thai authorities, vendors, and clients
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word) and A.I. (ChatGPT, etc.)
  • Supervisory or team-leading experience is an advantage.
