Your Role

As the Legal Counsel, you will play a vital role in supporting the legal and compliance functions of the business. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team, where youll provide clear, legally sound advice, manage contracts, and ensure the companys activities align with legal and environmental standards. Youll also contribute to compliance training, work on special projects, and support the business in navigating legal challenges with a pragmatic approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, pragmatic, and legally accurate advice to internal stakeholders.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of sales and supply contracts.
• Oversee claims management and offer litigation support as necessary.
• Lead training sessions on legal, compliance, and environmental topics for teams.
• Assist in ECO investigations and support the compliance team in ensuring company-wide adherence to legal standards.
• Work closely with compliance, operational, and business teams to maintain legal and ethical standards.
• Partner with business leaders to address risks and develop practical, risk-mitigating solutions.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification.
• Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience, ideally with a multinational organization or law firm.
• Expertise in commercial contracts, claims, and litigation management.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and environmental legal frameworks.
• Fluency in Thai and English is required.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to collaborate while working independently.
