YOUR ROLE

This role is pivotal in driving the growth and success of the Lubricants business in Thailand by building a commercially driven and professional organization. You will develop and execute detailed marketing action plans and customer value propositions for key brands, ensuring they align with global strategies and marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities include strengthening growth markets, optimizing the supply chain, and accelerating the adoption of the macro-distributor model. Collaboration across business segments and channels to maintain global alignment is vital. Candidates with proven marketing expertise, strong commercial skills, and the ability to adopt key marketing behaviors are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience in the Lubricants sector is beneficial but not mandatory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Marketing: Develop and execute marketing plans aligned with global strategies and Asia Pacific business goals.
  • Marketing Mix Management: Oversee pricing, product portfolio, channels, communications, and promotions to ensure impactful delivery.
  • Value Proposition: Craft compelling customer and consumer value propositions based on insights, delivering differentiated solutions for diverse segments.
  • Collaboration: Work with global and local teams on customer value propositions, branding, and support for prospecting and tendering key customers.
  • Pricing Strategy: Build pricing strategies, including brand pricing maps, to balance volume, margin, and value creation for business growth.
  • Premium Product Promotion: Lead marketing for high-margin premium products, equipping sales teams and distributors for success.
  • Product Stewardship: Ensure product compliance and efficient lifecycle management in consultation with the Product Lifecycle Manager and Supply Chain team.
  • ROI-Driven Marketing: Foster a results-focused approach to marketing investment, improving SP&A planning, agency management, and post-investment evaluations.
  • High-Impact Marketing Plans: Drive media strategies, promotions, and influencer marketing for maximum efficiency and impact.
  • Team Development: Coach, train, and support marketing teams, and collaborate with sales teams to strengthen market execution.
  • Supply Chain Collaboration: Partner with the supply chain team to enhance demand forecasting, supply network planning, and customer delivery performance.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Ensure seamless execution of marketing timelines, leveraging synergies to achieve business goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess proven track record in leading and developing teams to drive results across the end-to-end value chain.
  • Master of Marketing, business, or communication in your academic qualifications.
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in marketing or sales roles is desired.
  • Sound and proven professional experience demonstrating commercial leadership and business transformation ability.
  • Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment will be an advantage.
  • A detailed knowledge of transport, industry or consumer lubricants markets, covering B2C and B2B marketing/sales activities will be an advantage.
