Your Role

As the BOI Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's compliance with the Board of Investments regulations. You will be the go-to expert, ensuring that the company maximizes its available BOI benefits, minimizes risks, and facilitates smooth operations across departments. Your attention to detail and strong knowledge of BOI processes will be crucial in driving efficiency and supporting the company's growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage BOI Applications and Approvals: Oversee the preparation and submission of documents related to raw materials, machines, equipment, and spare parts for BOI incentives. Ensure accurate documentation for BOI approvals and manage import/export processes in alignment with BOI guidelines.
  • Ensure Ongoing Compliance: Regularly assess and maintain compliance with BOI regulations, providing necessary documentation and reports to ensure the company meets all required criteria. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all import/export shipments are in compliance with BOI and customs regulations.
  • Coordinate with Relevant Authorities: Serve as the key point of contact for external stakeholders such as Customs, the Department of Foreign Trade, Investor Club Association (IC), and other government agencies like FDA, BOI, and Thai Customs to ensure smooth BOI-related operations. Ensure all BOI activities proceed without delay, with a focus on timely delivery of materials in compliance with BOI benefits.
  • Track and Maintain BOI Documentation: Monitor BOI-approved machinery, raw materials, and related records to ensure proper documentation is consistently updated and maintained. Manage BOI-related documents (invoices, packing lists, B/L FTA/Form) and ensure the accuracy of import/export documents in alignment with BOI and customs regulations.
  • Support Across Departments: Collaborate with finance, sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth implementation of BOI incentives and import/export operations.Support internal teams by providing necessary guidance for BOI benefits in projects and timeline management.
  • Manage Trade & Customs Audits: Ensure the company undergoes successful trade and customs audits, addressing any non-compliance issues and maintaining high standards in import/export documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in BOI process management, particularly in manufacturing.
  • Solid experience in handling BOI documentation, approvals, and compliance reports, and coordinating with customs and government authorities.
  • Strong understanding of BOI regulations and procedures, including approvals for raw materials, machinery, and equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and BOI-related online systems (e.g., e-MT).
  • Strong command in both Thai and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external authorities.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a clear understanding of how to navigate the complexities of BOI incentives and customs processes.
