Your Role

As the Demand & Planning Supervisor, you will be responsible for developing and executing demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain alignment to support product availability and business goals. You'll work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, logistics, and regional teams to ensure planning accuracy, operational efficiency, and on-time delivery to customers.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage demand forecasts using historical data, sales inputs, and market trends
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align forecasts with business targets
• Monitor and improve forecast accuracy; analyze variances and identify root causes
• Participate in and lead monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycles
• Generate planning reports, dashboards, and analytics to support key decisions
• Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to optimize stock levels
• Identify process improvements and contribute to planning system enhancements
• Stay informed on planning best practices, tools, and regional trends

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field
• 35 years of experience in demand planning, inventory coordination, or S&OP
• Strong command of Excel and experience with data analytics tools (Power BI or similar)
• Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP (GUI or HANA) experience is a strong advantage
• Able to communicate clearly across departments and manage multiple priorities under time pressure
• Good command of English, both spoken and written

Technical Background

• Demand Forecasting Historical analysis, seasonality modeling, new product ramp-up
• Inventory Management Stock balancing, safety stock logic, warehouse coordination
• S&OP Processes Cycle participation, scenario planning, KPI alignment (e.g., OTIF, TAI)
• ERP & Analytics Tools SAP (GUI/HANA), Power BI, Excel (including Pivot Tables, Macros), data visualization
