Your Role

As a Business Analyst, you will play a strategic role in evaluating and enhancing operational and financial performance. This position bridges technical costing insights with business strategy by analyzing production data, optimizing cost structures, and improving enterprise resource planning systems. You'll be the key liaison between the business controlling team and stakeholders to ensure data-driven decisions that lead to measurable process improvement and efficiency gains.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze product costs using BOM, routing, lot size, and standard time data.
  • Work closely with finance, production, and procurement teams to drive cost accuracy and identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Prepare forecasts, cost reports, and pricing recommendations for decision-makers.
  • Maintain and improve MRP tools (e.g. SAP S/4HANA) to ensure reliable cost data and system integrity.
  • Provide insights through data dashboards and reports to support strategic planning.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to costing and production variables.
  • Support cross-functional teams to improve workflows and implement business solutions.
  • Assist with ongoing projects related to business process optimization and cost control.
  • Perform other duties as assigned related to process and cost improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or any field of Engineering is acceptable. 
  • Masters degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Overseas work or academic experience is an advantage, and experience working with multinational companies is highly valued.
  • At least 5 years of experience in planning, manufacturing, or business analysis.
  • Strong grasp of costing concepts such as BOM, routing, and standard time.
  • Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Good command of English.
