Your Role
As the Global Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing and procurement of a broad range of chemicals, including specialty oils, surfactants, and fatty derivatives. You will manage the supply chains for key chemical categories, ensuring that procurement practices align with the company's sustainability and operational goals. With a focus on innovation, you will drive projects that advance both environmental responsibility and cost-efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage global sourcing and procurement for key chemicals, including fatty alcohols, fatty acids, and related products, ensuring a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
  • Lead sustainability efforts by collaborating with suppliers to meet environmental goals and reduce carbon footprints in the sourcing process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and risks within the specialty chemicals sector.
  • Lead negotiations and manage the implementation of procurement contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as procurement, logistics, and quality control to ensure seamless operations.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, driving innovation and efficiency across the procurement process.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, ideally within chemicals, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, supplier relationship management, and market analysis.
  • A degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English (additional language skills such as Mandarin are a plus, but not required).
