Your Role
In this role, you will be at the heart of a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring that critical production equipment operates efficiently and reliably. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will not only be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of machinery but also for ensuring that preventive maintenance processes are implemented to the highest standards. Your leadership skills will play a crucial role in managing and training your team of technicians, helping them develop their technical skills and improve machine performance. Every day, you'll tackle new challenges and have the opportunity to drive continuous improvement in the maintenance processes, ensuring that production targets are consistently met.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for filling and packing machines, ensuring their reliability.
  • Perform routine inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting to keep machines running at peak efficiency.
  • Coordinate with the production team to schedule maintenance without disrupting production timelines.
  • Lead and coach a team of technicians, transferring knowledge and solving technical challenges as they arise.
  • Register maintenance tasks in the companys system, ensuring accurate tracking of hours, materials, and completed tasks.
  • Analyze equipment failures and work with the team to implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining machine uptime.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes, reduce downtime, and optimize maintenance costs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in preventive maintenance and machine reliability.
  • Experience leading and mentoring a technical team.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems (SAP or similar).

Technical Requirements

  • Strong technical expertise in filling and packing machines, including models such as TBA22, A3 Speed, CB1, or CB12.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance systems and interval inspections specific to the food and beverage industry.
  • Knowledge of machine reliability techniques, including root cause analysis and failure mode analysis.
  • Proficiency in using SAP for maintenance management and reporting.
